Looking to avoid airfare and to get away from Northeast winter weather. Enjoyed ship more than Allure/Harmony. 270 Lounge is incredible with comfortable seating, adjoining cafe, fun activity venue, and a day time place for playing cards, etc. Cruise Director, Dennis Charles, a lifer with enthusiasm, high energy, friendly to everyone, couldn't have been greater. They expanded the Diamond lounge into the adjoining Music Box in the evenings so plenty of room for 2000+ Diamond members. Plenty of places to relax and have a view of the ocean.

Food was fine, adapted for No. American tastes. Service was high quality. And the clientele was not too rambunctious this cruise. Although I usually favor the Vision class, the Anthem is now a favorite. Did the BOGO specialty dining on first two nights in Wonderland and Chops. Wonderland is a fun experience everyone should try. Used My Time Dining in American Icon for remainder of dinners. We were able to get our table within 5-10 minutes with or without a reservation. Captain skipped St Kitts, our last stop, to avoid a large Atlantic storm, going 500 Naut miles out of usual route. And, we're glad he did. Relatively smooth sailing all the way back to Bayonne, NJ. I would recommend this ship to anyone whether you want to get off at the Ports of Call or just relax on the ship.
