Chose this cruise as we wanted to see all the Hawaiian islands and the cruise made it a very nice way to see them from all angles. Using the the cruiseline pre cruise hotel was a great idea. Hotel was right on Waikiki Beach. Had a lovely coloured sunset that night. Enjoyed the pool and the view of the ocean. NCL pre checked us in, no long lines and we were in the pool by 1pm.
Great not having to rush from the airport to the ship, we were able to unwind and relax so we could enjoy our whole cruise. Really enjoyed the cruise director , she really makes you feel welcome and part of the family. Tried the Moderno restaurant for the first time, really enjoyed this novel experience. (Make sure you are super hungry before you go) . We pre reserved all our meal times and then got a printout so we kept the times in order.
First time on a ship that let us reveiw our shipboard account from our room. Really like this .
Cabin Review
Obstructed Oceanview
Made an offer for an upgraded room from the inside cabin to the obstructed view. Usually costs more than I want to pay but they accepted my bid two days before the cruise. Did give us extra room and a pull out couch. Was nice change.
Nice to see the NAPALI SHORELINE. Captain did a nice slow cruise along the coast , more than enough viewing areas . Unable to see the lava flows at night as they had stopped.
Always a pleasure to sail on Norweigian.
