We used to love Princess, but it is not what it used to be. Guest Services is very inconsistent....a lot of apathetic employees. A real hassle for people with mobility problems, which causes issues for other passengers...very disorganized with little to no signage.A safety issue as well, since no mobility “parking” spaces for wheelchair and scooters, those in that situation just park where they can and we have photos of exits, etc., being blocked and no control of this from staff. Also, the ventilation in the cabin worked on and off, often too hot to sleep in....it was at least 75 degrees at night, which the staff said was totally acceptable...not to us or many, and ther was a lot of complaining about this, and also the fact that there is no cool water for a shower, only quite warm to hot. This is not only uncomfortable, but can be a medical issue to people who are very heated from the saunas, Spa (also no cool water there, for a cool down shower after sauna and steam room use), and being hot from beach and pool as no cool water in showers anywhere. Our cabin Stateroom service was marginal at best. Public bathrooms both on the Ship and their private Island were often dirty, and I personally observed, TWICE, a staff member falsifying the record at the bathroom door, as to when and what time bathrooms were checked. Wasn’t part ofPrincess’s fine of $40 Million Dollars for illegal dumping in the ocean, included the U.S. Justice Dept. finding Princess falsifying records...,read about it on U.S. Dept. of Justice website. I could go on and on with a plethora of problems on this Ship which is very beautiful, but we had so many hassles, I would warn folks to be very cautious about using Princess. Also, they are very slow about fixing things and you have to handle them. Also there were times the front desk would not answer the phone and I had to walk down there in my pajamas. Poor laundry service.
