This is our 6th cruise, first time with Norwegian.
Staff could be bossy, intimidating and unfriendly. Unpleasant encounters during drill, at Shore Exursion desk on fifth floor, at Seven Sea restaurant and at our state room. In our past experiences with another cruise line, we became friends with staff at dinning and state room.
Like other passengers, we felt the program was poor. We wish there were lectures or movies when we were at sea ( two movies in 16 days). In the last five days of the trip, we had four days at sea and were very, very bored.
We were upgraded from 5th floor Ocean View to 9th floor Balcony, paying extra $600.Almost every time, during docking and departure, I was waken up by loud noise from the engine room.
The Cabin has two single beds, no coffee table, worn out sofa and a small balcony fits two lawn chairs. Storage is enough for two people, washroom has room to turn around, shower is good.
Cabin attendant worked indifferent, had to write a note for a new bar of soap every five days in our 16 days cruise ( remainant of soap was obvious, but, he would not replace it, unless I requested it ). We kept our cabin very neat and clean. Replace towels were the main task for him. He often did not bother to say hello to us ( did not bother to introuduce himself ). Maybe, he had worked long hours and did not get good salary?
