Our kids bought this cruise for our 25th anniversary so we had no choice on cruise ships. The minute we arrived on the Norwegian Sky we were greeted by very friendly staff members. Everyone was willing and able to help . Our stateroom steward was the best. He learned our names right away and greeted us every time he saw us. Our room was clean and comfy. The entire ship was constantly being 'tidied up'. Any cup/plate/trash that someone left there would be a staff member scooping it up. It really was cleaner than any hotel we ever stayed at. There was always something to do on the ship. We missed our first port of call due to high seas so we were stuck on the ship until we reached the Bahamas. We wondered what we would do in the meantime. The ship had shows to go to and there was always a party or show going on from deck 11 (I call the party deck). If you get bored on that ship, it's your own fault :) . From embarking to disembarking we had a great time. We will be back to NCL in the future. First impressions DO matter and the Sky made a great first impression.
