It was the only one that cruised the islands leaving from Honolulu. We found everything about the ship to be just fair-the room, the food, the entertainment. We expected more for the price we paid, and had to wonder if this is do to the fact that NCL is the only one to do a cruise like this. Comparing the on-ship experience to the one we had on another cruise line, NCL was by far lower end with a higher cost. The ship appeared to be old with no major updates. There was a gelato shop, and when we wanted to buy some, we were told it was open only 12:00 to 6:00. On a couple of excursions, we were told to meet at the Hollywood Theater. When we arrived at the designated time, no one was there and we were told to go to the departure area. We purchased the on-board phone and texting to stay in touch but found it did not work well. A couple of times. Messages sent in the evening showed up the next morning. We could not always reach the other person by phone, but got a message saying the system was trying to reach them. For the most part, the servers in the dining rooms were friendly and helpful. We had one outstanding waiter named Grace. However, one breakfast took so long that we had to rush to our excursion. We never met our steward during the entire cruise. From our experience on this trip, we would not choose NCL again.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Large Balcony

Cabin B1

The cabin was smaller than expected with little room to move around. Not sure which balcony we had, but it was not large. Drawer and closet space was skimpy with too few hangers. My husband I could not pass one another at the foot of the bed.
