The ship itself was below standards with respect furnishing and fittings being very tacky. Lots of plastic and little character.Ships staff were generally very good except at the main lobby where there was a permanent queque. Dining was acceptable with good service but food pretty bland. Fellow passengers were a mixture with mainly Americans and Canadians. We noticed many Americans bragging how they had got 2 for 1 deals for the cruise which seemed very unfair for the UK passengers who never had that option and payed considerably more. There was a lot of pushing and shoving and even fisticuffs at some of the endless lines waiting for shore excursions!! Not very mature !

Shore excursions were very very overpriced and in future we will do our own thing. We have sailed with Cunard, Thompson, Celebrity and P&O and would consider this cruise to be by far the worst of all. We do not intend to sail with Princess again.
