Had a great time on the Carnival Ecstasy. Went with a small group out of Charlotte NC and we drove down the day of the cruise. This was my the 10th cruise and 3rd time going out of Charleston but 1st on the Ecstasy. I usually go with a 20s and 30s Social Club in Charlotte with anywhere from 5-30 people going. It's always more fun to go with a group.

Parking wasn't an issue and was easy to get a parking spot then a shuttle to the ship. (Tip: the port has recently increased the parking to $20 per day). I really enjoyed the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades and the ship looked great for it's age. Guy's Burger Joint have amazing burgers and fries and love the tacos at Blue Iguana Cantina. Alchemy Bar is one of my favorite bars and love the unique drinks there.

Entertainment on the ship was good. Headliners Comedy Club had 2 Comedians and enjoyed both of them. One of the things I liked about this ship is the size of the Comedy Club... on most Carnival ship's you've got to get in line 30 mins early to get a seat but wasn't an issue on the Ecstasy. Piano Bar was a lot of fun and the British guy hosting it did a great job with the crowd. The Atrium Singer on the Guitar, Steel Drummer, and the Casino Band all were great.
