although we generally like smaller ships, we had sailed on the Regal last year and really loved the ship. This year was even better, with the Medallion Net internet service that was free to Platinum and Elite members. Also, the entertainment was great, with a hilarious comedian, Carlos Oscar, and Beatlemaniacs both performing two shows.

If you get a chance to go on a Medallion cruise, you should. This was a preview sailing, and we did not have the full Medallion service, but the internet service was the best we’ve ever had at sea.

If you ever get a chance to see the Beatlemaniacs, take it. They are great and look and sound just like the original Beatles. They were in the Princess Theater one night and then rocked the Atrium on the last night of our cruise.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

It was nice having the extra space with the Mini Suite, but the balcony was very small.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Had a great day at Princess Cays. Weather was gorgeous.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Stayed on board, since there were six large ships in port, and ship was leaving at 4PM. Had a great day on the ship, which was nice, especially since most people were off the ship.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation was quick and hassle free.

Cozumel

Went on our own to Paradise Beach.
