Traveled with children

We have traveled on Carnival Cruise line once before and had no problem. This time we took our two kids on the Carnival splendor. When we arrived our room was dirty, including dental floss in the shower, toilet paper on the ground, sticky ring marks on the dresser, splattering all over The mirrors, debris left behind, dust bunnies, and a towel in the bathroom rolled up on the ground that was damp and smelled like urine. We saw staff putting back utensils that have fallen on the floor back on the buffet, although the tables were wiped down, there was food and crumbs all along the window ledges, including sticky greasy fingerprints all over glass. Our first meal at the Asian wok, included vegetables that were frozen solid, the guest in line in front of me commented to the cook, and he removed some of the vegetables to soak them in hot water. The food was poor quality, The buffet areas were always crowded, and the layout of the of the ship was so odd. It always seemed dark, and everywhere you turn it seems like it was a dead end. Our list of complaints goes on and on, and needless to say we contacted carnival cruise during and after the cruise, and they were so "generous" enough to give us a $25 credit each on our next cruise.
