Good Ship and Cruise Experience

We prefer smaller ships and Miracle did not disappoint. Nice public areas. The comedy shows were very good. Make sure to show early to get good seats. Main shows were well done except for last show for "Soul Classics". The entertainers definitely did not have "soul" so it was pretty silly to see a bunch of white singers and dancers trying to sing and dance to 'soul" classics. otherwise all of the shows were very good.

Sea days were full of activities if you wanted to participate. We prefer the "Serenity" area but it was often filled up with no available loungers or chairs. Carnival might want to look at increasing the size of "Serenity" on all ships since every ship we have been on in recent years seem like that part is so popular that passengers are not able to find room.

We loved all the Western Caribbean ports. We've been to all of them before and never use Carnival excursions.

The disembarkation experience was not good. We did self disembarkation. There were two lines after leaving the ship. One for an elevator and one for an escalator. We got stuck in the elevator line and spent 30+ minutes waiting to get down to Emmigration. One problem is mobility challenged people having to use the elevators in addition to all the other passengers. Perhaps there could be a dedicated elevator for wheelchairs or there should be a designated time for all self disembarking wheelchair passengers.

Overall we really enjoyed Carnival Miracle and would definitely sail on her again!

Cabin Review

Cabin 8D 5210

Good sized cabin. Nice layout. Shower adequate size. Plenty of storage. Good balcony with unobstructed views. Climate control worked well. Very satisfied.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Stingray Swim

Booked with Sting Ray Sailing independent excursion. Second time for us. 14 people on a catamaran sailboat versus 50+ on cruisline excursion. We were swarmed with 30+ stingrays while curise excursions had 2 or 3. Highly recommend.

We did Cave Kayaking with VIV Tours. 1st rate tour. Great guides and so much better to kayak. We were able to go into caves the tubers were not able to go to. Would definitely do again!

We booked through Shore Excursioneer. We had previously done this same excursion on another cruise booked directly with Subway. Excellent transportation to site. Small group on two fantastic dive sites with no other tourists.

Booked directly with beach club. Loved sandy beach with NO loud music or partying. All inclusive with great lunch with good variety of menu choices. Drinks included. Nice pool and Jacuzzi which we did not use. Highly recommend if you are not a party person and looking for quiet and relaxing beach break.
