We chose this itinerary primarily for the 3-day stay in Rio, and it did not disappoint. The experience of Carnival in the Sambadrome was unforgettable and something no one should miss - it’s that much fun and that special.

Check in - smooth, but MANY people arrived without visas for Brazil and WERE NOT ALLOWED TO BOARD! So, if you are going to Brazil, and you are from the US, you need a visa. They are expensive, but not hard to get.

Cabin - we had an Oceanview on deck 2 just past midship, and it was great. It was a good-sized window and made the room feel even more spacious. Towels were a little bit on the thin side, but everything else was great.

Cabin 07

Comfortable; adequate storage room, although one large suitcase would not fit under the bed so took up floor space in the closet. Had a small couch that converted to a sleeper.
