My husband wasn't really sold on going on a cruise for a family holiday, however I talked him into as I'd previously been on one prior. I think the Carnival Legend was the wrong ship for me to introduce him to cruising as I don't think he'll be sold on going on another one.

Although the staff were friendly and helpful the ship was a great big let down. It is old and tired and in need of revamping.

The check in was pretty simple enough and quick. Then came the "muster" which they go through a fire drill of sorts where you're "mustered" outside, made to line up against the ship and basically made to feel like prisoners. We had to wait extra long as we were waiting on some people who I assume did not want to participate however everyone must attend for safety reasons.
