The bluest water leaving Grand Turk
I was going to skip getting off at this port. I am so glad I didn't. We

We chose this cruise as it was affordable and was scheduled when all of our schedules would allow. We loved the ship and most of the ports of call. We were supposed to have a Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle but it never happened...don't know why, we were not told why it was cancelled or never happened...Our room steward, Nourvi, made our experience very comfortable. He made sure we didn't want for anything. We we slightly disappointed with having to wait in line for dinner (any time seating) and Guy's Pig and Anchor hours were very few. Getting ice seemed to be a problem on Lido deck.. I hadn't cruised since 2009 and am not crazy about a lot of the changes I saw..(.mainly dining room attire) I took a couple of first timers with me and they really had a good time. All of these complaints are minor when you look at the big picture. I still think cruising is the best vacation for the amount of money spent and would cruise on the Magic again.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

We had four ladies in our room and although it was close quarters the room was very nice and we loved the balcony and dressing room.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

This port was the most interesting and was very beautiful in places and looked very ravaged in other places. A mix of old and new. Full of history.

St. Thomas

I have been to St Thomas before and it is great for shopping, and that is what I did. Not much else to report.

San Juan

My least favorite. I found it hard to navigate as it seemed to be all up hill. We tried to take a tour but the person in charge was terribly rude and made it abundantly clear the making money was far more important than we or our comfort on his bus was. One very tall gentleman with a large bone structure who could not fit in one seat no matter how hard he tried The tour guide yelled at him to scoot over as he needed that seat. Others on the bus came to the mans rescue but the guide was persistent to cram one more person on the bus. Our party of 5 got off the bus and informed the guide of how rude he was. I will not book another cruise with this port on the itinerary

Grand Turk

I loved this Port, so beautiful, you could look at the water all day. We hung out at the free beach and Margaritaville. LOVED IT !!
