Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

We cruised the Western Carib. on the NA from 2/24/18 - 3/3/18. This was our second cruise with HA and our first time to the Carib.

The entire ship must have been updated recently because all the carpeting looked fresh, the decor was modern and appealing and all public restrooms very nicely updated. The ship has a very Classic look. On our cruise I had heard that it was not sold out and I believe I heard there were around 2200 cruisers on board and 865 crew members.

We visited the Crows nest frequently when at sea and loved the very comfortable lounge chairs provided for viewing the sea. There is a Starbucks in the lounge as well as EXC tours.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VE

Our cabin was #7107 on the Rotterdam deck (7th floor) and our cabin steward was Nissan. The cabin had a nice decor and included a small mini-fridge, king sized bed, small sofa that had a pull out bed, table and large mirror. It was a lovely cabin with a small verandah which we used frequently. It was quite and we had no complaints about the cabin.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

excursions were either too expensive or really not interested. we shopped and spent maybe 3 hours doing so. went back to the ship and had an easy day.

Key West

we walked duval to see Hemingways house, then to the southern most point. got on the free duval loop and saw Mel Fishers museum. It was a nice day but retreated back to the ships pool.
