I've cruised Norwegian before and enjoyed it. I chose the Breakaway to save airfare to Fl from NY. That was a mistake. I do not blame Norwegian for canceling a port because of weather concerns. I am angry that I found out from gossip and no official notice was given till the morning of the canceled port of call. This was frustrating to us, knowing the ship has ability to leave message on phone, tv, or door. The ship has no problem notifying of a tacky art auction every day.

We decided to have dinner at one of the kids entertainment dinners that cost extra but usually has lousy food. As soon as we were done with the lousy meal it was announced the entertainment was canceled. Once again, notice would have been appreciated.

I was also displeased with the upsell tactics of the spa. I booked three spa treetments on the first day. Immediatley following the first treatment the aggressive sales started. I was pushed products I didn't want and services I didn't want. It turned what should have been a relaxing experience to a stressful one.

Cabin Review

The Haven 2-Bedroom Family Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

The cabin was overall very nice. I would have preferred not to of had to wedge furniture against cabinet doors to keep them from swinging open when ship rocked.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Nice beach with a good free barbecue.
