Celebrity Equinox is a "gorgeous" and "lavish" ship! This was our 4th cruise, 2nd time with Celebrity, we travelled on Constellation December 2008. Celebrity Equinox lacks entertainment at night, the ship is "quiet" if not silent after 9pm. Their shows are below average, the only good one was the acrobatic "circus" show. The casino is basically the only form of entertainment going on. It lacks spunk and fun during the evenings! We also suggest if travelling with kids, do not travel between Dec 14th and 24th, as we find there are too many people over the age of 50+, which were not tolerable to children. There were 107 kids on our voyage, but hard to tell, the Fun Factory is okay, but not as amazing and as well organized and fun filled activities as Constellation. Food adequate, it seems they were on budget constraints, only one breakfast buffet, and dinners very average at night in Silhouette Dining Room. Specialty dining - A definite the Tuscan Grill, Silk Harvest was below average. Pool area need to go and reserve chairs as Pool Butlers are not strict on policy, so if you go after 9am on a sea day you will have No chairs! Pool Grill food awesome!!! Also water geysers only at Port days awesome for kids to play in it, on pool deck. St Thomas - Magens Bay, St Maartens - Orient Beach, regardless what people say there is nudity but ONLY on the North end, just ask to be taken to the first drop off, Barbados - Boatyard, private section, excellent service. Just take a taxi on your own, cheaper and get same experience as the "expensive" excursion package they offer on ship. The biggest issue was entertainment and boring at night, and when we had two days of rain at sea, there was NOTHING to do aboard the ship. It made you climb the walls. This was a common feeling we heard from speaking with other passengers as well. The ship gets A++++++++++ on service! There is no question the staff are accommodating and helpful. We were in a Royal Suite and it was awesome as well as beautiful. We would definitely voyage with Celebrity again, but perhaps not the dates we took. They have beautiful ships!

Their on Port Shopping Staff Jennifer & Mirko are absolutely incredible and will help you with whatever your needs and requirements may be. They are both professional and experts in their fields. They know tons about everything and will guide you to the right places so you will NEVER feel you have gotten ripped off. They are a definite asset and bonus to this ship, they are AAA+++++++++++++ They go above and beyond their duty of call.

The Cellar Master Mike which we had from Celebrity Constellation was incredible and extremely knowledgeable of wines, they have an extraordinary array of "amazing" wines if willing to pay.

The closets were amazing, we had walk-in, we were 2 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space to put other items away. The bathrooms were amazing too. The balcony was awesome with the hot tub, the only not so good experience we were under the pool deck and we could hear alot above early morning. The hall space was amazing too, you did not feel like sardines. The ship is very well thought out as far as space and accommodations.
