Paid for upgraded dinner package, however, service was slow at Cagney's and La Cucina. In fact after waiting one hour and twenty minutes, we left before our entrée arrived to attend a schedule entertainment show. Two shore excursion's canceled at the last minute leaving us few options. Staff were not very helpful rescheduling. One was a simple beach transfer bus in Kona for $30.00. It was cancelled well beyond the notice deadline for lack of riders. We assume NCL pocketed the advanced payment in full by the guests that changed their minds. Then they told us to pay a taxi $80 each way if we still wanted to go. Although we prepaid our tips, NCL billed us a anyway at checkout. They probably did not think that we would notice. The ship docked at most ports, however, Kona used a tender service that was a logistical nightmare. Guests using canes, walkers and wheelchairs still had to take one flight of stairs which appeared unsafe. The free buffet was an overly crowded feeding frenzy and we observed guests take dirty plates up for seconds in the middle of a influenza epidemic. Staff did not intervene despite our request. We returned to port twice because of medical emergencies, however, no announcement was made by staff at the time. Guests rumored that the ship had lost a stabilizer in the rough seas between islands. The ship advertises a "walking track" but it is nothing more than a concrete level connecting all the way around. No padding, lots of puddles and you have to duck in maintenance areas. NCL's bus took three hours for transportation to their hotel after arrival in Oahu and our clean luggage from the carouse arrived full of soot. They picked us up the next day at Noon but our cabin was checkin unavailable for several hours. Not their best effort !

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

Bathroom was very small and shower was worse. Walls were not soundproof. Guests on later time zones woke us up many times each night.
