We took a Caribbean cruise on the Koningsdam last year and thoroughly enjoyed. We booked this cruise while on the ship last year.

Koningsdam is a new boat and it is a fabulous ship. Great staff! The food was good, however, they need to freshen up desserts. Most are prefab, cakes using whip cream icing, not a lot of imagination until the final night when Baked Alaska was served in the dining room. (Note to Holland, Baked Alaska when served on the Alaskan cruises is made on a chocolate graham cracker or fudge stripe. Much better than the lady finger that was used on this cruise).

The ports of call were Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos) very nice, although it was comical that the 'Catamaran' sail snorkeled within sight of the boat as was the beach, so much for the 'sail' portion.
