After reviewing other guests comments regarding Navigator of the Seas, my wife and I decided on a brief five day cruise
Beginning with the boarding process, we found the curb side baggage handlers to be obliging as long as they are provided with a gratuity. Our handler removed one of our tags which was secured by three staples. He acted in retaliation because he was not given a gratuity. With the help of Deck Supervisor. missing piece was found in lost and found minusluggage tag. Others said this was not an isolated case, The ship itself was in in excellent condition. Every area was clean and the members of the crew was constantly performing house cleaning duties. Our cabin was comfortable but the bed allowed us less then eight inches to maneuver on both sides. Only negative comment I can offer is our mattress was lumpy and needs to be replaced. Other then this minor discomfort, our cabin steward offered excellent service and care during our stay. Though we did not eat in the main dinning area, we took advantage of the specialty restaurants and the many choices they offered. A special thank you to Chops for the great service and fantastic steaks.
With out elaborating further, my wife and I feel based on the large number of cruises we have enjoyed we would rate our experience on Navigator of the Seas as one of the finest.
Over all size was adequate, but quests have less then eight inches from the side of the bed to the wall on both sides. Mattresses are old and needs to be replaced. After 28 cruises this is the first time I experienced back problems from a lumpy mattress.
Bathroom is adequate and closet space is excellent. Any issues regarding the cabin was resolved quickly by room attendant.
