We have done 7 previous Celebrity cruises but this was our first time on Reflection. We felt the ship was very crowded. You had to reserve a deck chair early- like 7 am- to get one for the morning. The theater was often standing room only for the evening entertainment. We always book Aqua class because of the small pluses in the cabin and Blu restaurant, but we are rethinking this for the future. Celebrity has eliminated the free bottled water in Aqua Class without notifying us. When we complained we were told to buy a beverage package. Everything on this cruise seemed to be aimed at getting you to spend more money. The company also eliminated the nice tote bag that was always a gift on the first formal night in Aqua class.

The initial check in process was very slow with long lines. The one tendered port had very limited tenders and long waits in the sun. Service in Blu was much slower and there were fewer waiters.

Overall, we enjoyed the cruise, but will avoid Reflection in the future. We hope this is not the direction Celebrity is taking. I think they are being penny wise and pound foolish. We were planning to book a Baltic cruise on Celebrity but elected to book this with another cruise line.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

This cabin is directly under the gym, specifically the treadmills. A few nights this was an issue when we went to bed at 10 and the gym didn't close until 11.
