We booked this cruise for two main reasons, we liked all the ports plus we liked the ship as we have cruised on her before. We booked a 8B balcony cabin on deck 6. The cabin was nice and our room steward "Jerry" did a great job. If we needed anything he was right there. We had early dinning and we were seated at a table for two, this was the first time that has happened in 20 some cruises w/Carnival. We enjoyed the table for two and our wait staff were very good. We enjoyed all four ports but we really enjoyed San Juan and Grand Turk. We have been to these ports many time. St. Kitt's was the first port we had never been to. St. Martin was our least favorite port and you could still see damage from the most recent storm that did so much damage to the Caribbean. The shows on board were excellent. Marcus Anthony was a guest performer one night and he did a very good job. He was only on board that one night and got off the ship in San Juan the next day. We had laundry done twice on this cruise and in one case we got it back the same day. Very pleased with that. We did enjoy the movie on deck, we watched Dunkirk. That was an interesting film on the big screen! Overall the food, drinks, service, cabin and ship staff were a big plus! Nice cruise!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

I talked about the cabin in my general review. We were pleased with, it was clean and we had plenty of room. The bathroom was fine. Lots of storage. We always book a balcony and we use it a lot. Its nice sitting out there in the evening and having coffee in the morning. The location was good, very little "rocking". This was a pretty smooth cruise!

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Lots of pushy vendor around town and the port area. Lots of damage from the terrible weather they endured. It was a nice day but it was our least favorite port.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Our first visit to St. Kitts. We just walked around and checked out some shops. My wife found some nice stuff with good prices. We had some drinks in the town square. The weather was very warm and we ended up back on board sooner.

San Juan

We love San Juan! We checked out some shops and even found a antique shop and came home w/some nice "old stuff" that fit in our suitcases. We had some drinks before we headed back to the ship. We enjoyed the day!!

Grand Turk

Our favorite port for our past cruises. We love the beaches and the weather was perfect. We had lunch at Margritiaville. Super nice day, the best of this 8 night cruise.
