Terra del Fuego. End of the World!

We have cruised 5 times each year and this was one of the best experiences mainly because of the dramatic vistas floating past our balcony. Gigantic Glaciers, rugged mountain peaks, wildlife(penguins, alpacas, condors,..) and cultural ports in Argentina and Chile. The ship itself was clean and well-maintained with attentive staff everywhere. We would have liked a better quality of shows in contrast to "Burn the Floor" on the Escape. But this was a smaller ship and so it is a matter of economics. Fortunately, the weather was mainly fine and the choppy seas around Cape Horn were mitigated by the ships stabilizers.

Our next cruise is on the maiden voyage of NCL "Bliss" to Alaska which is much larger. We expect to see from our balcony, dramatic Glaciers and craggy peaks, but we hope it will not be too boisterous with all the race car tracks, water slides, and other adventure features. Just a nice cozy safe trip is all we are looking forward to experiencing.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

Reasonably sized cabin but the doors out to the balcony would not shut well so the constant howl of the wind in Patagonia, kept us awake at nights. The cabin steward was excellent.

Port Reviews

Stanley

An outpost of Gt. Britain complete with Post Office and Pubs.

Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego)

Covered a lot of beautiful landscapes and the End of the World!
