This itinerary was modified due to the hurricanes, and ended up being a great variety of ports. Our sailing was on time with one port visit extended longer than listed giving us several extra hours to explore.

We have cruised several tips in the past on Norwegian ships, and found the Jade to be just as nice overall. We avoid the mega ships which contain a lot more onboard "toys" to play with which feel do not increase our pleasure during the trip. Anyone with kids would want the mega ships to entertain during sea days.

We cruise Norwegian because of the relaxed attitude, informal attire, and very flexible dining times; i.e. anytime! Other cruise lines require formal dress, set dining times, and very limited seating arrangements that do not match our vacation needs. Read more
