Ideal sailing from Adelaide for our family group of 7. 2- 65+. 2 - 88+. 2 - 57+ and 1 - 35. Have sailed on Eden twice before and really like her. Embarkation was very smooth and we were in our cabins by 11.45 and having lunch at Waterfront by 12. We had treated ourselves to a suite and loved it. Good space, very comfy bed and a very large balcony with table and 4 chairs as well as 2 sun lounges. However major problem with air conditioning and the spa bath which took too long to fix. In the end we were compensated with cash. Found the reception staff to be less than apologetic and they failed to keep us updated with repair progress. Nevertheless putting that outside we sampled all the included food venues. Dragon Lady and Angelos couldn’t be faulted. Waterfront also was more than adequate. The Pantry continues to improve. Loved the fresh prawns for lunch. The whole pantry concept is one I approve of. Have found the food has improved from our first cruise. The servings are more than enough and mostly the temperature of the food was good. Great show in Marquis Lounge which had people dancing and singing in the aisles. Crew worked hard and were wonderful with my 92 yr old mum. Disembarkation was a shamozzle with long queues. Tricky with wheelchair. Will we cruise again on Eden? Absolutely. She is a ship that looks and feels like a ship should.

Perfect break.

Cabin Review

Cabin 10026
It is large and very comfortable. Will take 4 with a sofa bed. So much storage. Welcoming bottle of champagne and bottles of water. Nice bathroom products. An espresso coffee machine which we used frequently. You can also have breakfast in your cabin. But the food isn’t that hot and after the first day we had breakfast elsewhere. Afternoon tea is served on request in cabin and that was nice.
