Have cruised Royal Caribbean HAL and Princess. This was our first Cunard experience. Ship was elegant but not glitzy. Service was excellent but very much “this is Cunard and this is how it’s done”. We thought the food was the best we have ever had on a cruise. Cabin was good but think it may have been slightly smaller than the other ships we have been on. Enjoyed the shows in the Royal Court.

We were not a fan of the set dining times. We had 6:00 pm dining and missed dinner if you got back late from shore excursions or wanted to attend the sail away party.

Synergy were very good but noticed that a lot of people left the pool area as soon as they finished. The pool area lacked atmosphere without music so think they could use the DJ when the band finishes.

Cabin BC

We were very comfortable and didn’t feel that The movement in a forward cabin was any different than mid ship.
