Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2B

We chose this cruise because of the 14 day itinerary, which started in Sydney and then went to Melbourne, Hobart Tasmania, Milford/Dusky/Doubtful Sounds (a day of amazing cruising of the fjords), and then 5 more stops up the east coast of New Zealand. Akaroa was my favorite because of the stunning scenery.

The Australia cruises sail during their summer, which is winter in the US, so it is a good time to get away to warm weather. I look forward to seeing more of Australia.

As always, the service provided by Celebrity personnel was excellent, and the ship could not be cleaner. We will continue to use Celebrity on future cruises.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin was in good condition and the Cabin Steward, Mari, kept it immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable and I requested softer pillows and an extra blanket and they were quickly provided. Location was also very good.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

We had 5 days in Sydney before the cruise, so we were happy just to get on the ship and enjoy all it has to offer.

Wellington

We visited the Te Papa museum (very nice) and walked around the city. I regret that we didn't get out into the countryside.

Napier

Napier has a beautiful waterfront area with a huge beach and the art deco town was very nice, but small. We walked around for an hour and felt like we had seen it.
