Traveled with children

This was a family travelling for mums 70th birthday.

We arrived in Barbados Sunday late afternoon and was bussed from the aeroplane directly to the ship - very basic buses but only a 40 minute trip.

Embarkation was a smooth operation, very organised.

Cabin Review

Cabin delux balcony

A deluxe balcony cabin.

Great size.

Lots of storage space,

Chairs on the balcony not sunbeds.

TV with minimal channels.

Shower is small but manageable.

Has a kettle and hairdryer that worked well.

Clean towels every day

Port Reviews

Aruba

We got a taxi from the port to Eagle beach. $13 per taxi each way.

2 sunbeds and an umbrella $40!

Fabulous beach, sea very rough the day we went.

Beach bar lovely with clean toilets, beer around $5, coca cola $4. Snacks were available too.

Bonaire

We only had a few hours spare in Bonaire so stayed in the town. Lots of shops to walk around but very expensive compared to other areas we visited.

Pretty place

Grenada

I don't think we saw Grenada at its best. We were late arriving in Port so only had a few daylight hours there. It was school leaving time for them and the place was so busy, we could barely walk down the streets. it was quite intimidating, people stopping us to buy things, try and get us on trips with them. We didn't explore far before deciding it didn't feel too safe and returned to the ship

St. Lucia

We took a taxi to Rodney Bay - $8 per person each way.

An interesting beach - all very organised by locals to get sunbeds - all ex sandals sunbeds worse for wear and very uncomfy!

Lots of bars and snack bars

Lots of sellars on the beach - making and selling jewellery mainly. All looking for $20

Lots of beach massages being offered, aloe vera treatments...

All very entertaining for the day but wouldn't make a habit of returning.
