This cruise was okay. My wife had paid for a Happy Anniversary room decoration that was supposed to be ready when we arrived and it wasn't, ruining the surprise. The first night at dinner was confusion: They took us in and then looked around like they didn't know where to sit us. Then we felt rushed and steaks were cooked at wrong temps. The next day at lunch we were seated at a table that still had a dirty tablecloth and crumbs on it.
After this, we had a new waiter at dinner named Jayesh who really made a difference for us. He was great! He was personable and cared about how his customers were being treated.
The only other food type issue was the fact that they didn't have the free soft serve ice cream available after 9pm like Carnival does. Why not? Oh, probably to make you buy ice cream from Ben & Jerry's or get a shake at Johnny Rocket's. It's a simple fix that many people complained about.
Took a taxi - it was simple and easy and safe. Bought a few things after negotiating way down. Had lunch at Pancho's Backyard and it was amazing! We then went to Paradise Beach and enjoyed a little beach time and also ate some wings there, which were also amazing! We really loved Cozumel!
