When we boarded the ship the upper deck pool area was closed it was still being cleaned, the hot tubs on the lower deck were closed as well. The Spa cancelled my massage due to not have sufficient staffing. On our last day, the main deck had the lounge 80% of the lounge chairs stacked and were sanding the deck near the main pool. The Serenity Spa for 21 and older had 2 children there with their parents, at no time did staff approach them and advise this was an adult area. One specialty coffee shop with one employee working in the morning, made it difficult to grab coffee prior to excursion. Some buffets had several empty bowls and platters, lines got long as people waited for them to be refilled. One morning the buffet near the lower deck pool opened late, people complained due to leaving for excursion, it was opened but it was not properly prepared with food. Throughout the cruise the lights kept going out, once during a comedy show. The carnival hub did not work at the beginning of our cruise made it difficult to stay in contact with other family members, worked at the later part of the cruise.
