We chose back to back 7 day Eastern Caribbean, 7 day Western Caribbean cruise in order to have a break from the cold and snow and just relax. We had been to all the ports on previous cruises except for Amber Cove and had not sailed on the Eurodam before.

We also had never been to Florida or the Caribbean in January - we found the weather to be cooler than other times, but pleasant and comfortable as there was little humidity.

We flew to Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise and stayed at the Hyatt Place Hotel near the airport. Read more
