Booked this about a month in advance -- did the interior "guarantee" room to get the best price, and was not disappointed. Bummed that we had to settle for the "Your Time" Dining, but it all worked out fine.

Flew into LAX and used Johnny's California Shuttle service. Very convenient and fast. Embarkation was smooth -- almost nobody there around noon. Ate at Guy's Burger Joint on the Lido Deck (always a delicious treat!).

Got into our room around 1:30, then went and sat out on the Serenity Deck to get any sun there was. This was a COLD week to go, because a cold front had just blown through. Our kayak excursion we booked for Ensenada had already called to cancel due to bad sea conditions, so we knew it was going to cold and maybe rough.

Cabin 4A

Very roomy for 2 people. Lots of closet storage space. Nice & quiet. Good water pressure.

* Good location * in the back of ship, near stairs to Serenity Deck / Comedy Club (1 floor up)

and Lido Deck Buffet area (2 floors up)

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Flew into LAX that morning, plane arrived around 11am. Johnny's California Shuttle service was there waiting for us. Easy 25 minute drive to Long Beach on a Sunday. Embarkation was fast and easy. On ship eating lunch around 12:15 / 12:30.

Ensenada

Our kayak trip through an independent company was cancelled due to bad sea conditions. I wish we had called them back to reschedule when our cruise itinerary was changed to another day there.

We ended up walking across the street to the big white building (Riviera) and bought some souvenirs. Sat and watched the water fountain dance to the music over by the big flag pole. Caught a horse-drawn buggy around town, then ate some tacos at a bar/club.
