We wanted to try river cruising because of my wife's vertigo with ocean cruises. We had been hearing about Viking and that is reason why we chose you. We also chose the Rhine as a perfect getaway due to its popularity plus it was a perfect way to visit our niece in Rotterdam after the cruise and lastly was to start experiencing the Christmas market which is why we chose these dates of cruising. We did accomplish all, my wife did not get sick at all with cruise, we enjoyed the Rhine river but we were not able to accomplish the last part of the goal which was to experience the Christmas market as we were a week early. It could have been perfect if the weather cooperated a little by not raining a lot but also learned that European fall or near winters are very cold than California. Since we had enjoyed this, we are looking forward to planning our next river cruise on the Danube sometime in 2019.
