We chose this cruise as part of a package tour and cruised to Sydney from Capetown. Most of the Phillipino staff were excellent, Some of the staff did a rotation in the buffet area and European staff came on board, they were not friendly and quite surly they were definitely not suited to this type of work and many looked as though the guests were an inconvenience.

The food was very nice in the Britannia Room and the buffet although the Buffet area was a bit confusing as it is broken up into sections and different food in each part which caused the areas into these sections to be very crowded. Always there is crowding in the seating areas which is understandable.

Everything on QM2 costs, unlike other ships for the price there should be a few inclusions, like the watercolour classes, and the craft classes, they would not have cost much to run.No complementary shopping bags as on Holland America, which I though a bit stingy.

Balcony, sheltered

Room was the same as other Cruise ships, the Phillipino staff always pleasant, the room service was very prompt.
