My wife and I have been on over thirty (30) cruises and we are in our early 50's. You can probably guess that we really enjoy cruising. We sailed with two other couples. We have sailed the majority on Royal Caribbean with 7 on Holland America. We chose the Harmony because of it size. We enjoyed the largest ship in the world (till next month) and would sail on her again. There were 6519 passengers on board the ship (announced not counted by me) but you really did not feel crowded. The only time you felt crowded was around dinner time because everyone used the elevators and there is no way to have enough. You tend to use the elevators because there are 17 decks on the ship so moving from top to bottom can take awhile by stairs. The staff was excellent and the food was very good. Our cabin steward was excellent, never in the way but always with a smile and help if you needed anything. The concierge staff was also excellent. They handle our Cabana change in Labadee, booked our spa and handle all of our dinner reservations.
You will read these reviews about the exact same cruise at the same time and get different opinions. Sometimes they are so extreme, that you wonder if they were on the same boat. Please take these reviews in context. Some people get up every morning and look forward to complaining. My wife and try not to live our lives that way. Nothing is perfect so do not sweat the little things because you are going to be on a really nice cruise ship with a great crew in the Caribbean while I will be slaving over a hot computer.
Excellent cabin. Cabin steward was awesome. Had a slight problem with the toilet in the middle of the night (it would not flush and over flowed) but was fixed first thing the next morning. Never gave us any trouble after that.
Get a cabana !!!!! Excellent staff and great food
Went to a resort and had a great time for the day
