The positive:

-Many negative reviews state that the Breakaway is an overcrowded ship, but it is large and it is designed to hold a large amount of people. I agree that some areas like the atrium and theatre lack seats to accommodate large groups of people, but other areas like the Garden Cafe always had seating for dining.

The negative:

Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

The water pressure was really low on the ship. The shower barely hit you and the sink barely washes the toothpaste off your toothbrush. I asked the ship's staff about it and they said it's true that throughout the ship, they are trying to save water and installed devices to limit water usage by guests (Cruise ships use ocean water for the ship, so it's not going to run out!! Note to NCL). You end up spending more time in the shower trying to get the soap off your body due to the lower water pressure.

The room are not sound proofed (Oceanview forward). I constantly heard flushing sounds from other staterooms, people yelling at each other in a foreign language from one particular room and an engineering room which had a telephone in it that kept ringing throughout the cruise. Ironically, the oceanview glass was sound proofed and I did not hear anything OUTSIDE of the ship, especially when the ship was blowing its horn in the foggy weather next to North Carolina.
