I made my second cruise with Carnival and I’m done with Carnival. I booked this trip as a 30th wedding anniversary for my wife and I. When I booked the cruise they asked if there was a special occasion and I said “yes, it’s my 30th wedding anniversary”. I guess they didn’t believe me because it was never mentioned by anyone aboard. Ever. Why did you ask?

Next, there were only a few of the crew that were friendly and cordial. The rest were being harassed by the guest. At least that is how I was treated when I asked any question to any crew. The food was awful (they started charging for the good food), the cabin was hot, someone on my deck had skunk weed and it filled the halls everyday, the shipped never stopped rocking (unless we were in port), the entertainment was mediocre. I could go on but you probably get it by now.

The best part of this cruise was the other passengers. I met some awesome people that will will not soon forget.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

The cabin never cooled off. The shower made a puddle in the middle of the room, instead of going down the drain. It was quiet and our steward did a good job.

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

Bring lots of bug spray and a fan. It’s hot and the gnats will eat you alive.

Half Moon Cay

Relaxing, beautiful and peaceful. Ahhhhh!
