We always wanted to visit Vietnam & Hong Kong. We had heard very good things about Celebrity, and as they included our destination requirement, this was a no brainer. Checking in was easy and very efficient, being in a Suite gave us priority. Waiting to get into our suite was a bit boring, yet gave us time to explore some parts of the ship. Our room was excellent, well furnished and comfortable. The complimentary bottle of fizz & fruit makes the welcome more enjoyable. Both the guys looking after us were very polite, friendly and full of knowledge, making our stay very happy and stress free. Being able to eat every day in our exclusive restaurant, where the food & service were of the very highest standard, equal to any Michelin starred eatery. The staff were very friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable of the menu and wines. No request was ever turned down. The ship had everything that one wants on a cruise, All was very well maintained and clean, the gym was excellent, and having a view out to sea gave it that little extra. It was a pity that one had to pay extra to use the steam room. The shows were everything that we could have wished for, both classy, exciting, vibrant & diverse, from Broadway musicals to balancing acts.

Going ashore on excursions was very efficient and the quality of the tour guides excellent. One must read the notes before booking any day trips as some involved a coach journey of upto 2 hours each way. The sights were all as we wanted, and the guides gave us a lot of information, not only about the locations but also about life in the country.

Would we book another cruise with Celebrity, you bet. They made us feel like long lost friends and no request was beyond their ability. We were given a tour of the navigation deck where we were shown how the ship is controlled, the bonus being that the Captain came and gave us a very amusing talk and answered many questions thrown at him. When disembarking he was there wishing everyone a safe flight home.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

The suite was more than we expected, quite large but very comfortable. The bathroom was well layed out and allowed us to shower in comfort. I felt that seeing small repairs on the carpet let things down a bit. The balcony was a great size and allowed us to sit outside and ponder the sea or the various ports of call.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Great country to visit and the ship was docked close to the underground railway. A modern city with many places to visit.
