Overall ship is in good shape but showing its age. Enough rust in spots. Wood handrails in spots being refinished on cruise.

The Windjammer buffet was always crowded for breakfast and lunch. Difficult to find a table especially for just 2. Food selection is varied and huge, warm but never hot. Cold food is cold. Having to walk to alternate seating makes the warm food cold. Some of the alternate seating is near a smoking area. Annoying and big nuisance.

Afternoon movies in show theater were nice. Not first run but that's to be expected. Seat comfort left a lot to be desired though. Lack of public restrooms near show theater and casino. Both mens and women's were stopped up and partially unusable one evening.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Attendant was great and kept room immaculate.

However, the love seat, bed and pillows in the cabin were extremely uncomfortable. Had regular room with non-opening window only. No idea how the furnishings in an expensive room are. Our room was kept very clean but again showing some wear. Like some clothes drawers were hard to open and close, drawer bottoms were worn bare, rug was just OK, not great or soft.

Be careful of bringing thick suitcases as the only place to store them is in the clothes closet and all three of ours would not fit in there. You may be able to shove a thinner suitcase under the bed. YMMV.
