We chose this cruise because we prefer the quieter atmosphere of a smaller ship, and we liked the itinerary. It was our first Viking Cruise.

The embarkation process was outstanding, lasting no more than 5 minutes...a far cry from the 2 or 3 hours it took the last time we cruised with one of the large cruise lines. The ship was absolutely beautiful; the clean lines and subdued decor were restful and elegant.

The state-of-the-art fitness centre was well equipped; it was nice that on the first two days of the cruise, orientation sessions were offered of the different machines, etc. We both made good use of it. We also really enjoyed the incredible thermal spa area, which included sauna, plunge pool, steam room, hot tub, large thermal pool and a snow cave! We enjoyed the tastefully decorated sitting areas throughout the ship, especially the Viking Lounge, which felt like a cosy living room.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

This upgraded stateroom was well worth it for the extra space. Like the rest of the ship, it was beautifully designed and very functional. The staff kept it immaculate. Loved the heated floor in the roomy bathroom.
