We have done several Viking River Cruises and wanted to try their ocean cruises. The ocean cruise being similar to the river boat cruises in that no casino, shore excursions included at each port, very good food and service, never felt crowded, lectures were quite good, and entertainment was very good. I would recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to avoid smokey casinos, crowded environment, and wanting an excellent experience. The one thing that is needed is a better selection of Craft Beers. Craft beers are extraordinarily popular now and their appeal is still growing, much more so than the Budweiser or European Lagers. Manfredi's Restaurant was outstanding. The Chef's Table was also quite good. Actually, all of the meal venues that I tried were good to outstanding.

Did not have to worry with a lot of young drunks or loud people trying to instigate trouble. The overall experience of the people we met was very good to excellent. Most people were fairly friendly and open for discussion.
