Journeys cruise and the length. We wanted to get away. Although we live in San Diego and the warmer climate, just getting away from the day to day normal was what we were looking for. We Love Carnival and are avid cruisers. (Platinum Level) we have been on other cruise line many times before but we always come back and prefer Carnival. They never disappoint The entertainment staff on this ship was one of the best we have been on. wow to mention names, they were all excellent. Even the shows were first class. The food was great as always, except for the bacon. I like mine still squealing and they prefer it crispy. LOL. Our cabin was great and kept fresh at all times. The steakhouse was the bomb. We will continue to sail on Carnival and have already booked two cruises, one in August and one in Jan 2019.I find it funny reading reviews that their can be such discrepancies in peoples opinions of the same cruise. I believe that if you are looking for negative things you can probably find them anywhere. Have fun it's your vacation. Carnival calls themselves the fun ships for a reason. We had a blast and will continue cruising until we can't walk of die. "GO HAVE FUN"
