NEVER cruised Viking before. The Sky was a new ship, the online reviews were tops, AND we got a great deal. The pre-cruise was wonderful at the Hilton. The staff on board the Sky was over-the-top, and the food aboard was fab - especially Chef's Table and Manfredi's. The ship itself is a dream come true. The cabin is/was laid out very well - plenty of room for luggage, etc. I mean, even the bathroom with its MONSTROUS shower and heated floor was an unexpected pleasure. Celebrity, Azamara, and Holland do NOT have those features (we're multi-starred on all those ships). The ports of call were all good except Green Hole, Roatan Island - rain kept us from our scheduled garden/park tour. A visit to a chocolate factory was something we could do without. Last, the Viking Band AND the lovely three-gal trio were terrific. The Mrs. and I danced to the band most nights AND we listened to wonderful classical music before and after dining. A big WOW for a wonderful cruise - matter of fact, we just booked the Viking Sea for more fun, laughs, and good times next month. Good job, Viking. Seeya soon!
