Opportunity to see this area and also room from large group. We were very excited about cruising the Rhine River. We had not been to this part of the world and thought the experience would be fun. We were not disappointed. We made this trip with five other couples and the ship was more than adequate to meet our needs. The excursions offered us the variation in opportunities we were looking for and the chance to get to know others on the trip was a real treat. The cruise through the castles was amazing. Hard to believe you can cruise so close to so many historic buildings. The stops along the way provided a great mix of both small villages and larger cities. We could not believe the access to quaint villages as well as historic larger cities, and the number for significant cathedrals was outstanding. The trip to the top of Cologne was one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely return for another cruise.
