We chose this cruise because it provided us with an opportunity to visit places we had heard of and always wanted to travel to. There are not enough superlatives to describe just how wonderful and amazing our cruise was. Accommodations were luxurious yet cozy. The staff was so welcoming, friendly, patient and helpful. On the last night of our cruise, our purser (Sorin) said that many of us would want to take members of the staff home with them. He was absolutely right!! Gabor and Doru took fabulous care of us! The food was delicious -- American favorites if we were feeling homesick for tried and true comfort food but also local cuisine and wine to enjoy and learn about. The excursions were well thought out and gave us a true feel for each place we visited. Additionally, the guides for the excursions were knowledgeable and professional. We have already booked our next Viking river cruise!

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

As mentioned above, our cabin was luxurious yet cozy. After doing an excursion, it felt like coming home when we came back to our cabin. Having the suite provided us with just enough room to spread out. The balcony was just the perfect touch to help us feel truly a part of our surroundings.
