The Amazon—not your usual sun yourself on the beach type cruise! We are not beach people although we enjoyed visiting most of the islands we did. Our focus was the Amazon and gow people live in that part of the world. It delivered.
The ship was delightful. Amenities were great. We enjoyed a few of the shore excursions that included entertainment and sctivity like hiking through thr jungle. Lectures were educational an interesting.
Other parts of the trip—embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Every meal (except my very last one on the ship) were very well prepared and served.
Cabin Review
Kept in perfect shape and cleanliness bt Joe and Sam who we enjoyed viting with very much. Loved the warm shower and heated floor. We do spend quite a bit of time in our room so we want it to be comfortable and clean. Sometimes, however, the breakfast tray would stay until early afternoon. Other than that, the staff is very attentiveto our needs.
