Having just arrived at our port and having gotten all settled into our stateroom, we were surprised with an additional shore excursion that took us up the hill to St. Germaine. We loved it! So beautiful and the best way NOT to fall asleep after a long flight!! Perfect way to start a perfect vacation!
Another surprise by Viking! They offered so many cool, unexpected add-ons at no cost! We were all provided with a long-stemmed rose to be placed st the grave of a fall soldier at the American Cemetery. So moving...especially as my husband is a war veteran. Another beautiful experience. Thanks Viking!
The time spent at Omaha Beach was amazing...one of our favorite shore excursions. In this picture, my husband and son-in-law gather sand from the beach. We purchased small glass containers, containing the beach name, before arriving at the beach. An inexpensive yet beautiful souvenir.
