Before we booked this cruise we researched via reviews and their website to find that there were 2 indoor smoking areas and several outdoor ones, only to find that when we got on board there were no indoor ones and only 2 outdoor areas - 1 of which was frequently closed because of inclement weather. I small area of the ship for all smokers was appalling. It was also very disappointing that non smokers had to be near the smoking area at different times. (There should be several completely separate areas for smokers.)

The breakfast was the best meal of the day. Horizon court dining area was appalling and the quality of the food was worse than any pub I have ever eaten in. Hardly any vegetables at all. Roast meat with no roast potatoes. Food that was either under or over cooked and cold as well. My dog eats better than the rubbish that was served to us. The other option of the dining room was not always convenient to us, and the times we did use Donatellos were really good - albiet over the top. The is a vast difference between convenient food and rubbish food.

One month before the cruise we were told that we were not going to Auckland and received a small re-imbursment Milford Sound just never happened. On the way back to Australia the ship was going so slowly and seaweed frequently outstripped the ship. Far too much time spent at sea with little or nothing to do.

The bed was very comfortable, and the cabin staff were very good. The bathroom wsas tiny, and included a toilet, shower and vanity. It was clean but the shower was so tiny I bruises my elbows while washing my hair.
