Price was great compared to other travel options...we had never done a cruise, rarely traveled. So it gave us security to put ourselves in experienced hands. They booked our flights and used the nearest airport which is fairly small but was so convenient for us. We extended our stay for two days in Rome, and there was a Viking representative in the hotel every day to provide recommendations, directions and they completely organized us for the flight a home. The actual onboard experience was delightful. We packed light and used the free onboard laundry to enable us to leave the ship clean. Every cabin had a balcony with chairs and a table and we loved setting out there as the sun set. There were complimentary sodas and snacks in our room every day to enjoy as well. The daily port information talks were enjoyable as well as informative. We took all of the tours that were included at each port and thought they were wonderful! We can't wait to go again.
