Viking Delling Cruise Review by kwebb23
- Sail Date: October 2017
- Destination: Europe River
We ate all meals on board. Before we left we hoped to have at least some lunch in a local town, and we could have I guess, but the excursions were frequent and the food on the boat was excellent. Oh wait! In Carmargue we had lunch at a farm restaurant that was very popular, and it was wonderful!
The stateroom was completely functional and comfortable. It was small but it never bothered us. The design was very modern Scandinavian but it just worked so well!
The ship was clean and well designed. All passengers could eat at the same time in the dining area. The lounge was comfortable to sit in. We sailed on the last week of the season, so it was cool but fine. One day we sat in the bow lounge outdoors and just watched the countryside go by....
The activities were the excursions as I mentioned, and all we well planned, worth doing, and fun. The best two were Train de l'Ardèche and the day trip to Arles and Camargue.

AvignonFun to see THE famous bridge and learn it's not "sur" (the pont...) but "sous" i.e. UNDER the pont d'Avignon.View All 107 Avignon Cruise Port Reviews
